[Opinions] Aldo and Alto
I would like to hear your opinions on Aldo and Alto. Alto didn't do well at all in my recent poll ("terrible") rating but I don't really see what's so bad about it...

Alto is fine, unless you're a soprano, or a bass ... I taught a boy named Altus once; delightful child who made me enjoy the name, especially since he hadn't had his growth spurt yet and was very short indeed.
Aldo doesn't happen much, if at all, where I live. It's fine within its own language community, but I have no context for it.

Alto means “tall” in Italian... Aldo is kind of old-mannish.
