I know someone who loves this name and it has made me pay more attention to it, in general it flies under my radar. The thing that keeps me from warming up to this name is that I don't like the inevitable Addie/Addy nickname. I'd prefer "Ade" or "Aide". Adelaide Juliet is pretty and Adelaide Margot is really chic.Adelaide Ivy also appeals to me.

I prefer Adelaide Margot, assuming the -t is silent. Juliet and Charlotte, following a name ending in -d, don't please me. Adelaide Julia and Adelaide Charlene seem to flow better. That said, if I had to use an Australian place-name, it would be Alice.

I think Adelaide Margot and Adelaide Charlotte are better, as when you pronounce Adelaide, your mouth open less and has a “beady” sound. Pronouncing Margot and Charlotte make your mouth open more and has a more “blocky” sound, while Juliet sound a bit similar to Adelaide, which I think is undesirable. For the name itself, I think it is a great classic name, best suited for those more feminine girls and it gives me the impression of someone dressing impeccably and well-adorned. If she is the more active kind, nicknames like Ada or Addie will be better, or even you may use Audrey instead.PS: please forgive my weird analogies.
