BtN says it simply means "of Rome", there's no mention of "man". It was (is) an English surname, and before that a Roman family name, so technically it would classify as unisex. I agree with you, by sound alone I prefer it on girls only.From your list I like Romilly Margaret and Romilly Genevieve.Others:
