What's your impression of this lacy Italian name? Too perfumed? I think I like it a lot, actually. Fioretta appeals to me as well.

Yes, too perfumed is a really good description. It's not bad, but too flowery.

I have a hard time liking any of these names (Flora, Florence, Fiorella etc.).

But I do like many flower names.

It's a common last name where I grew up. I think it's pretty.

I think it's a very cute, gentle and happy name, so appropriate for a baby born at Spring time!

I read some time ago that names based on flowers and plants are a growing trend.

It’s ok. It gives me more of fiery vibe than flowery. I like Fiorella Cosima and Fiorella Pearl.

It's cute, I guess. Very overpowering images of gardens and bouquets, it reminds me of a wedding in the late spring, specifically.
