I like it (this was one of my favorite feminine names as a kid in the 90s, along with Hollis, Ivy, Andrea, Chloe, Kira, Katrelle), but I don't see it being fashionable soon.

Misty is alright, I think it's cute. Maybe it'll make a comeback. I don't know many people named Misty. Misty from Pokémon first crossed my mind. Maybe Millenials and Early Gen-Z (1997-2006) would use it out of Nostalgia? She's a likeable character.

Never really liked it and hope it doesn't come back

It's too similar to Missy or Sissy so it comes across as a nickname.

Misty is probably the only "adjective" name I actually like. I can't really explain why I like it, I just do. But she needs a really practical middle name for balance. (And Misty herself absolutely does not belong in the middle!)

Insubstantial, juvenile, and plain annoying. Very airy and transparent. Doesn’t really leave an impression; forgettable.

I actually think it's really charming. I'd only use it as a nickname, though, maybe for...Artemisia? Millicent?

I'm sorry but it feels like a fat girl name, and also kinda gives me a country bumpkin vibe.

Hmm... I don't know. Personally, I like it. With all the nature names that seem so popular, it doesn't seem out of place, but I don't know if we'll see it come back anytime soon. I knew a sib set named Misty and Stormy once, so I tend to think of those names together. I just don't see either making any big leaps up the charts.

I can’t say that ever really liked it to be honest with you. I can’t imagine it on a person past age 10 maximum. It sounds like it should be the name of a shopkin.
