The Big Red Dog.Childhood, thank you. Generally, I really hate this name, time to toss it. I love old sounding names, but both Clifford and Gertrude are a no.

I was just thinking about the NN Cliff! I think it sounds cool. I would use Clifton for a full name, though, and not Clifford. To someone my age, Clifford is a big red dog, or Martin Short playing a ten year old.

I'd be startled to meet a Clifford under 60. Vintage or not, it doesn't appeal. And Cliff ... it's all Richard to me, and I can't stand the man or his voice or his music. Plus, there's that really feeble joke: What do you call a man with a seagull on his head?

It was also a show on PBS Kids that began to air in the year 2000. Many 2000s kids know of it.
