[Opinions] Skadi
WDYT of Skadi?

It's pretty badass. I could see metalhead or pagan parents using this name, which gives it a cool edge.
It's a bit ugly to me in my "Murrakn" English. Sounds exactly like Scotty. Looks cool, though.
I don't like it
I like it, reminds me of "sky".
Impossible where I live; identical for all practical purposes with the Afrikaans word for damage: skade. Although, wouldn't the Norse pronunciation have been more like SHAdi?
The Danish word for Damage is Skade, as well. :) It’s also our word for Magpie, weirdly enough.
To the best of my knowledge, non of the Scandinavian languages pronounce “ska” as “sha”, but we do pronounce the “de” ending differently in Denmark compared to the other Scandinavian languages.

"Skaði" means "damage" in Old Norse too
