[Opinions] Jayla
Thoughts on Jayla?
I think it would actually be quite pretty if it had a proper etymology.
I like it better than Kayla but still...too trendy.
Do you prefer Kayla?

I think it’s really pretty, but definitely modern and trendy (which isn’t always a bad thing). I recently took it off my Considering list on my PNL after toying with it for a while, but I still do like it.
I don't really like it though I do like Jay. I also prefer Kayla.
About ten years ago someone I worked with had a daughter named Jayla, which considering we're in the UK and it sounds exactly like the word "jailor" to me, I thought was a little odd but he (and his wife) obviously liked it. He was of Trinidadian heritage, and I think visited the US a lot. I think of it as being a very American name.

Perfect for a prison warder.
Jayla is better
It's ok, I prefer Kayla
I don't like the "jail" sound in it.
Sounds too much like ‘jailor’ in non-rhotic accents.
