Very ornate; eighteenth century, but more Georgette Heyer than Jane Austen. I wouldn't use it or even expect to meet one.

It's pretentious but also kind of ridiculous, which gives it a nice eccentric approachability. There's something sort of witchy about it, and I like that. I'd love to know an Araminta.

I love it! I named my cat Araminta, but I call her Mintie. The vet offices usually spell it Minty tho.

It's a bit old school, but I think it is refreshing on a kid today. If it weren't my cat's name, I might consider it for a kid one day.

I think it’s lovely for all the reasons you mentioned. Minty and Minnie are my favourite nn options.

I'd love to meet an Araminta, Crazy Rich Asians really sold me on it. The character with that name was very free-spirited so that's how I see it now. I love the nicknames too.

I don’t like it and never have, despite trying. It just sounds very choppy to me, and I don’t particularly like any of the sounds, and I don’t like Minta and Minty (though obviously there are others to choose from).
