[Opinions] Michaela
What are your opinions on the name Michaela? I pronounce this name the same way as Makayla. I used to highly prefer the spelling Makayla because I know more in my age group and I didn't want people to mispronounce Michaela despite it being the original spelling (I'm not really a fan of unique spellings, but some I like. Take Karissa or Karyssa instead of Carissa for example). I've never met anyone named Michaela, but I've met COUNTLESS people named Makayla/Mikayla/McKayla/Mikaela. I also know someone who has the middle name Mykayla (pronounced like Makayla). I think the name Michaela is strong and beautiful. I love that it isn't way too common either. I see it on all ages and I think it's a very mature but not too mature name. The first thought that came to mind was Michaela Quinn from the show Dr.Quinn, Medicine Woman. Which I used to watch as a young child (reruns, lol. It stopped airing in 1998 which was 6 years before I was born). I also think of the character from the tv series Manifest. It's really cool so check it out. I recently saw that it was on Netflix, too. That's cool. I got to re-watch it.
Also, sorry for any grammar mistakes. I was trying to type fast and I'm in a rush, lol.

I hate Michaela and all it's variants. I slightly prefer Michaela because it sounds more formal. But it gives me bad memories in elementary school, it was the most popular name in my generation. I do now know one (an adult) with this name who is very sweet. But I still wouldn't use it, it's as bad as Alexis.
