[Opinions] Re: Angelique
in reply to a message by Perrine
I like it a lot. I knew a really cool gal named Angelique when in lived in California. Feels a little dated to me, like Monique.
Pronounced as American English (Ann-gel-LEEK) and called Angie.
I like it better than Angel, Angelica, Angelina, or Angeline.
I don't like it better than Angela.
It's better than Angelica, to me, because Angelica has the English word "angelic" in it. Angelique doesn't make me think of the word "angelic." I think it'd do so more, if I had never known someone named it.
