[Opinions] Re: Amphelise
in reply to a message by Kerry.G
I don’t like Amphelise.
I think you should just let this whole thing go, it’s not worth it and I wouldn’t want you to get banned. Just try to avoid the posters you don’t like, this is just baiting them…
ETA: Sorry, dumb moment. Didn’t realize you were trying to address Amphelise the poster, please note I was talking about the name! :)
Please rate my lists. All of them are ratable except for the Main list and the Surname list. :)

Thanks I don't know if I'll ever come back, but if I do I'll take your advice.
Wait, don’t like me personally? Or don’t like the name? :)
I just edited my original post when I realized, sorry about that, lol!
I just saw that haha. No worries!
I do wanna defend my name though ;)

Oh wow. For some reason it never occurred to me that Amphelise was an actual given name...I have no idea why not, I guess I thought it was a word...
The etymology is neat; I like it. :)

It’s pretty cool, isn’t it! I love it because the origin is so tenuous, and because it appears, hangs around for ~500 years, and then just evaporates without a trace.
It’s also my name in the Society for Creative Anachronism, so I answer to it as much as I do to Christine haha.
