[Opinions] Leonie
What do you think of Leonie? It means “lion”.I think it’s interestingly cute and vintage. A little fierce too because of the lion association. I like that it can go with any type of middle name be it classic, biblical, or even spunky."People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing all day."'*•.¸♡ Have a great day/night! ♡¸.•*' Rate my personal name list please :) https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/217493

It sounds cool and courageous. My favourite spelling is Léonie. I like Leonia too, and Leocadia, and Leontina. Leo names for girls are so underrated.

It's cute. I always liked Leon and Leona. It's growing on me for a girl.

I know a few, they are all older (maybe in their late 50s to early 60s) and they are all Filipina ladies. They have sisters with names like Ada, Mildred and Glynnis. I have always thought it was cute though. Leonie and Leona both feel very energetic. Which is weird because Leon is so vintag-y old man.

I like Leonie, but the pronunciation always confounds me.

I know a Leonie, she's one of the other students in my master's cohort. She really changed my perception of the name and now I see it as very gentle and almost ethereal, very fae. Before I thought of it as jazz-age dynamic and loud (in a good way).

Much nicer than Leona, but not a name I'd use.

I like Leonie. Not a lot, but it's cute. I knew a Leoni (without the e, not a typo). I didn't know her well - colleague. She seemed alright but I didn't get along with anybody in that workspace; they were all drug addicts and/or workout nuts. Leoni was in the latter. I'm also not kidding on that, I was extremely uncomfortable in that place. I got a lot of sexual harassment there and I couldn't hold a conversation with anybody because drugs and workout was all they did. Nobody cared for games, music, movies or shows of any sort. I literally felt my braincells dying conversation was so dry.I remember thinking Leoni was a tad into herself and in the end, she named her newborn son Leo. So perhaps she was, even if I didn't get to speak to her all that much (being the other end of the office an all). Although, maybe the work culture in there brought out the worst of everybody...
