Probably the best out of Barry, Gar(r)y, Harry, Larry, Parry, in spite of Mr Potter. Lawrance is a family ln and I could consider it as a mn, but I wouldn't go further than that.

Oops. Meant for opIt's the name of my brother-in-law. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He's easy-going, funny and just plain sweet. Unfortunately he has had limited real-world experience, which allowed his son recently to cheat him out of a fair inheritance. The son also cheated Larry's brother (my husband) and sister out of a fair inheritance. Families!

I wouldn't use it, but I've always had a soft spot for it. It's my stepfather's name and it suits him to a T, an unpretentious, easygoing, friendly kind of name.

I have the same image of Larry as RoxStar described.

I love both Lawrence/Laurence and Larry. All the Larrys I've known (which is surprisingly few) have been wonderful people. It would be so cool to meet a baby Larry.
