I like it' especially when pronounced in English. I find it somewhat harsh sounding when pronounced in Swedish.
LOVE this name, it’s a fave of mine. I would definitely consider using this name, because I think it’s beautiful, simple and kind of sassy. I love the meaning of glory too, that’s great. I’ve loved this name since I was a kid, so it’s stood the test of time with me.
I get a vibe from it like, wannabe. Wannabe flapper. Like Clem or Coco. Trying to evoke an image. It just doesn't seem natural, to me.
And Cl-names in general have a doughy, frumpy quality about them. I think it's most charming in Cluna. And Claire has enough style to overcome it. I can overlook it in Chloe, at least until the name becomes dated. But Cleo ... I just can't meet it halfway. Seems too cutesy, and not spiffy enough to make up for it. Would rather see a gal Theo or Leo.

I love Cleo, I think it sounds really smart and edgy. I'd totally use it, too, even though my own name is Chloe.
I guess Cleo's one detraction is that it's pretty firmly established as a cat name where I'm from - I've known several cat Cleos. That wouldn't stop me, but I know it would get some funny looks. I think the "Miss Cleo" jokes have pretty much died down now though, at least.
When I was changing my name, I had it narrowed down to Chloe or Cleo/Clio, and I just didn't think I could pull off Cleo. But when I went to Jamaica, I got to live out my Cleo dreams because for the life of them the staff at the resort could not say my name properly, and I became "Cleo Katrina" there. I still really like that combo :)

I love it! Really fun and exciting! I prefer Clio, but either way it's great!
I like it.
