He is F I N E!
I don't actually like it but have a soft spot for it because I love Larry McMurtry's series of novels about Thalia, Texas, whose main character is Duane Moore. It's very much what I call a "favorite uncle" type name, though I don't have any uncle named that. My mother did once date a Duane, who was movie-star good-looking but had a bit of a jerk streak in him, and a spoiled daughter who was worse than he ever thought of being. He had the worst trouble telling her no and making it stick, and the one time he really put his foot down she keyed his car and told him I did it and hoo boy, bad trouble. Looking back I can kind of feel a bit sorry for him, because that brat was smarter than he was and took every advantage of it.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
