I had a wonderful friend named Paula back in 1st grade. She was a cool person. So it has good associations for me.
Paula is probably the best feminine form of Paul. Pauline is cool, Paulina is okay, but Paula is #1 in my opinion. Short, simple, classy, and pretty. Kind of in rugged way. Which is exactly why I like.
