[Opinions] Prism
What do you all think of the name Prism for a first or middle name for a girl? I'm usually not big on word names, but this one seems a little different to me, and it evokes a beautiful image. It would probably fit better in a middle name spot, but what do you all think?
What are some potential combos using it as a first name or middle name?

I actually like it but people might mistake it for "prison". I love the name Cyan for a girl, but I won't be able to use it because it doesn't go with my fiance's last name. I like the way Sphere sounds but I would avoid using it because it seems easy to tease particularly if the child is on the stocky/chubby side. It would be an interesting middle name but still probably not a good idea.

Still just sounds like a math shape to me, sorry!!
Prism sounds very weird as a name in general to me.

I don't like the sound of it. Also, when you say it loud, it sounds kind of like "prison".

I think it's very cute. Different, but not so different that it's weird. I think it would work for a boy or a girl as a middle name. My husbands says it sounds to much like prison. He doesn't like it at all.
Thanks for the replies, everyone!
I think it sounds very strange, but I use prisms on a daily basis at school/work (optometry) so maybe that's why.
I instantly think of this:

I would actually prefer it on a boy, but I do like it. But I'm taking a math major, so my opinion may be biased because I love geometry!
Yes, I am more thinking of the pretty crystals you hang in your window to create beautiful images on your walls ;) I used to LOVE them when I was a kid and would get them as gifts all the time.
I was definitely not a math major, so I don't automatically think of that connotation, haha!
