I immediately think of "Beverly Hills 90210" and the twins, Brenda and Brandon. I watched reruns of that show as a child sometimes. So they both feel dated.
But Brandon feels 90s dated and Brenda feels...60s dated, I guess?
Even though they are similar they don't go well together. Well, they are too similar for siblings anyway, but their style doesn't really match.
I think I prefer Brendan, I like the meaning "prince" and it feels more timeless. But Brandon can still work. It doesn't sound super dated.
I guess Brandon in 2090 and Brenda in the 2060s.
But Brandon is classic enough that it will not go completely out of style.
I like Brandon but not nearly enough to use. Brenda is very no-nonsense and a bit strict, but Brenda sounds like a woman who knows what she wants and who would be respected.

Brandon is kinda okay (although, I prefer Brendan more). I don’t like Brenda.

I like Brendan a lot; I'd use Brendon as an honouring name, though objectively I prefer Brendan. Brandon does less than nothing for me; like a merger between Marlon and Brando.
Brandon does seem a whole lot more modern than 1940s-1950s Brenda. Brenda, Sandra, Patricia ... and Brenda is the drabbest of them all.

Brandon will probably always be at least somewhat popular.
Brenda is not coming back anytime soon.

I think Brandon and Brenda are definitely a big blast from the past for 1990s kids... I see Brenda coming back before Brandon?
Technically they weren’t Beverly Hills kids, though. They were Minnesota kids who moved to Beverly Hills ;-)

I like Brandon ... probably only because of one I knew. It's not really my style.
I didn't like Brenda for a long time, because of two Brendas I knew. But now the memory of them is fading, and I can see the appeal of the name.
I don't think they have a chance of being *very* popular again for another 25 years (Brenda) or 50 years (Brandon).

Intersting. I never thought of Brenda as preppy. I like it much more than other Br names.

Brandon and Brenda Walsh
Individually and instinctively I think of the 90210 characters (Especially Brenda) but if you put it together I’m especially gonna think of them.
Brenda is okay. I don’t have a strong feelings.
Brandon is quite handsome. It also reminds me of Punky Brewster. I was actually quite surprised to see it was used on girls.
