[Opinions] Re: Castor?

I usually like mythological names, but this one doesn’t work as well in English. It makes me think of castor oil or the little wheels on the bottoms of furniture.
It also seems like one of those names where people were tired of mainstream occupational-surnames-as-first-names and went for something similar-sounding but without the standard origins. I feel the same way about Asher, although I do like that name a lot more.
The fact that James Hetfield named his son this redeems it a little bit for me, because it isn’t as jarring as I thought it would be to hear it on a real kid.
