Mystic is for a girl.
Any MN suggestions? Any FN suggestions?
What siblings would go good with Mystic?
Noah, 4 - "Dad, I love a fun guy!"
Dan - "Oh really? Pumpkin, I'm so glad you think i'm a fun guy!"
Noah, 4 - "No! Dad! I like fungi! you know mushrooms!".

Mystic is a nice town in CT and the setting for one of my favorite movies, "Mystic Pizza". But I would never name a child Mystic. I much prefer Misty.
Mystic Tan? What about Melissa nn Missy?
Our second wedding anniversary
Um, I'm not trying to be mean at all, but the name Mystic makes me think of a stripper.
It was the unicorn Beanie Baby, and it sounds every inch its part.
I honestly think Mystic is dreadful--it smacks of trying-too-hard-to-be-hip--and you're talking to a girl who likes Chickadee and Whippoorwill in theory. When I think it's naff, that's saying something, lol.

ETA: Alternatives that might appeal to you:
Mist (please not Myst--it's a baby, not a video game ;)
Misty
Lyric
Maisie
Misaki
Moss
Tamarack
She had fallen against the windows, which were pressed against the windows, which were pressed against the old oak near across the age of the old Aunt Sophronia--was almost dreadful enough to walk on.
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

My first reaction was the movie, "Mystic Pizza." But I'm old and it's a lesser known Julia Roberts vehicle so I doubt a dd would get that reaction much.
No, my real object to the name is that it seems like a warmed over version of tired, 70's "Misty." I just don't care for it. Sorry.
