I like it as it is,
Belle, and as a NN for
Isabelle. I do not care for the hyper popularity of
Isabella and do not care for
Bella because it reminds me too much of a dog's name. It is Nice as a dog's name but I only see it as a dog's name. Whereas
Belle is of course Disney's
Belle in Beauty and the Beast as well as the love interest in A
Christmas Carol, etc. In the US we also associate
Belle with meaning a beautiful southern woman. I do not feel it works as well with
Isabel. Yes,
Isabelle is the obvious choice but I think
Annabelle works too though ik you don't care for that spelling I suppose.
