I prefer just Fawn, despite it also being a trauma response.

I know a tiny, fiery elderly Irishwoman named Dymphna, she's capable of being scary but sweet or beyond terrifying, I love that for her. That said, the name itself is clunky, difficult for anyone unfamiliar with Irish spelling to say, dated and just gives me a very elderly vibe. Yes, the meaning's cute, but meaning is only a part of a name's charm.

Incredibly awkward, unattractive and cumbersome, possibly even worse than Dorcas.

Don't like it

I like the fact that St. Dymphna is the patron saint of the mentally ill, no crazy about the name itself.

I know people who struggle with Dafne and Daphne pronounciations so Dymphna is a bit too much.
