Both are cute nicknames for Margaret and Mary, but in terms of spellings I'll go with Maisie, it looks more beautiful and less simple than Maisy.

I prefer Maisie; not sure why. I like it, but not enough to use, unlike Daisy, Peggy and Polly.

It’s a lovely name, I adore the meaning of Pearl too. I like both versions, used to prefer Maisie, but also really like Maisy too. My DH prefers Maisy, because it’s like Daisy with an M.
