I like Elsie, too.I hate Mia and don't care for Amelia, Emily, or Grace. If I had to use one, I think my top 3 would be Ava, Ivy, and Willow, followed by Sophia, Isla, and Florence.

Very predictable list imo. Poppy and Rosie are the only ones that probably wouldn't have such great success in US.

I like Olivia, Sophia, Florence and Emily. Rosie on an adult would be disconcerting; ditto Evie. I could just about deal with Elsie.

I definitely see a particular theme, any combination of these names could easily be sister sets. I too like seeing Elsie, as well as Florence, Grace, and Rosie. Though if I had to peg a favorite it'd probably be Ivy. I'm partial to Ivy.

The whole list has a weird monotony to it. Flower names and names with very similar sounds. Willowlilyislaelsieavaevieemilyameliaoliviapoppyrosie... Ick.

There are some similarities to the Top 20 in the United States (also Canada), so worldwide trends are evident - or maybe I should say Western Trends. But others surprised me.I enjoy seeing Willow here (it's climbing in the U.S. too - so are Ivy and Freya). And it speaks to a real cultural shift from what has been exported as "British culture" in the media I grew up with that "nicknames as given names" are so trendy now: Rosie (instead of Rose or a longer name), Evie (instead of Eve or a longer name), Elsie... There's a certain amount of rebellion to it - at least, from my perception.Isla, Florence, and Poppy are all distinctly British, and of those three Florence is the only one I like.
