Looks odd outside of a Portuguese-speaking context.
It's interesting. It makes me think of Haytor in Devon.
I think, like Theodora'sMommy pointed out, that it could be pronounced like "hater". Which could be a problem for them.

I don't like it
If the 1st syllable sounds the same as "ate", then that would bug me, because in English, I think ay-tor sounds like a suffix. But I assume it works better in Portuguese.
