I love Stefanie. It's a bit more refreshing and unique than Stephanie, although I like both spellings. I think Stefanie is especially nice if you're honouring German, Dutch, Danish, etc heritage or someone named Stefan (as opposed to Stephen). Stephanie is more mainstream in English speaking countries so you wouldn't be constantly correcting the spelling. I adore the French pronunciation of the name.
