[Opinions] Newton
What are your thoughts on it?What would you name a sister and a brother?Do you think it will make a comeback?-I think it's a pretty sophisticated and nerdy name - Newton evokes an American Industrial Revolution vibe. I quite like it. I'd name a brother Thomas and a sister Minnie - these names fit Newton's aesthetic.I also see it making a comeback soon, but will stay at the bottom of the chart.

Don't really like it

It makes me think of fig newtons, so I’m not a big fan. Plus it just sounds so “wet” to me. I don’t see it coming back.

Sophisticated and nerdy don't go together in my book. Newton doesn't feel sophisticated.
It has a fussy, nasal, buttoned-up vibe to it. Calls to mind newts and Fig Newtons. The sound noot is just too ridiculous to become even halfway popular.

I like most -ton names! I like this one too. It reminds me of Isaac Newton, so unfortunately, it is kind of nerdy. And I don't like the nickname Newt. The animal newt also doesn't help.
But it would go well with Llewellyn and Priscilla.
It sounds smart, sophisticated, and wellborn!
New or Newie are good nicknames either..

I want to like it because it's geeky-cute, but it also seems kind of slimy (newts) and maybe comically conservative like Norman.
Dexter and Primrose are about the same aesthetic imv, or...
