WDYTO the name Aloe?
How do you pronounce it?
I often see it pronounced ah-LOH-eh or AH-loh-eh.
Which combos do you suggest?
I actually really like It for a girl. It's a short name and aloe is a lovely useful plant. It is delicate, fresh but also help us clean air and also in medicine it's very important.

I'd pronounce Ah-low. Like Aloe Vera.
And honestly I think it's a fine name. It's a popular plant. It's short and sweet. It's pronounceable. I wouldn't be baffled if it became more popular
I'd just avoid use with middles or last names like Vera as it sounds like you're being jokey with the name. Unless doing it in earnest of liking the sound.

In my American English accent, it's AL-o (that's how I'd expect it to be pronounced), which I don't like.
It seems like it should be namey, but it's not really; it's not as weird as Yucca would be, but maybe about as weird as Magenta or Citronella would be as a name, or it sounds like an incomplete Aloha. And I love aloe plants, but the word primarily reminds me of irritating stuff like sunburn and bug bites.
I guess in Spanish, it's AH-loh-eh.

My first thought that was to say Al-oh. I had been saying it the English way.
If pronounced like that, I like it on a boy.
I don't like the sound of al-oh-eh. I'm not sure why. Maybe it sounds too delicate?
I love nature names. I'd use it on a son before I use it on a daughter. No one where I live would pronounce the E like "eh" unless it were spelled like Aloë or Aloé. In that case, it looks very feminine.
For a boy: Tristan Aloe, Finnian Aloe, Eoghan/Owen Aloe, Aloe Conrí, Aloe Connery, Aloe Winston, Aloe Houston, Aloe Pedro, Aloe Rodrigo
Unisex: Aloe Shannon, Aloe Avery, Aloe Cardamom*, Aloe Jade*
For a girl: Christina Aloé, Britney Aloé, Aloé Miranda, Celia Aloé, Parker Aloé, Aloé Bridget, Cardamom Aloé*, Ginger Aloé*t
* I wouldn't use the really plant-based or double-object combos in real life, because its kind of going overboard. I'd just choose one word-name or object-name, so the kid has at least one normal name to fall back on in case they don't like their other name. : )

I agree that it's a nice and useful plant, but it's a bit medicinal for my taste. It just doesn't seem like a real name. I like the pronunciations that you provided but you'd have to use a different spelling, because everyone is familiar with the pronunciation AL-oh and you'd have to correct them constantly.
