[Opinions] Noelle Or Zoelle?
Which name do you prefer- Noelle or Zoelle? What do you like about it, and what nicknames would you use? Thanks :)

Noelle
My MN is Noel, pronounced like at Christmas, so I am biased.
I think it feels like the sun peaking through clouds on an overcast winter day. Noelle is fine, just slightly more sparkly.
I don't like saying Zoelle. I feel like I'm slurring "swell" instead.
Zoila would be interesting, though!
And I like Zoya and Zoe.
NNs seem extra, but I'd use Nell or Zell, if I felt like I needed to.

Hi !!!!
I prefer Noëlle (with the ë). Lovely meaning. Simple spelling. Ageless sound.
It doesn't need any nickname.

I've known 2 Noelles in my life so far, 1 went by it in full and didn't like nicknames and one (the one closer to my own age) occasionally opted for the nickname Elle when we were children, not sure if she still does though. For Zoelle, Zoey seems the most logical & inevitable choice but I like it. Between the two I'm not sure which I like more.. Noelle is more tamed down for sure. I always imagine a book-ish, shy, introverted young woman with mouse-y brown hair and glasses in an overall dress, reading in a coffee shop or book store. Zoelle is more vibrant & impression making of a name. Someone in a field that is both highly creative but also highly difficult & competitive. I think it depends on the impression a person wanted that metaphorical kid to give to people tbh. Both nice names.
I still prefer Zoanne myself but I'm weird. Zoelle seems more independent but Zoanne feels more tamed & almost cutesy.

Noelle, but I prefer the spelling Noel (where I live, Noel and Noelle are sometimes said identically and are therefore given to girls). Zoelle sounds too rough on that Z for me. But I like Zoe!
Noelle: En (N), Noe, Noey, Elle, Ellie
Zoelle: Zee (Z), Zo, Zoe, Elle, Ellie
By the way, someone already asked this question, so I repeated my answer regarding preference.

Zoelle? Looks as if the N had fallen off Noelle and someone had picked it up and put it back on, sideways.
I would prefer the established to the freshly invented, most times. And I'd certainly prefer Noelle to Zoelle. But, I'd also prefer Noel, as a unisex name, to Noelle. Where I live, certainly, Noelle is routinely pronounced noWELL, which I find unattractive.

Noelle hands down. I like Zoe but not Zoelle.
Zoelle nn Zoe
