Hi !!!Layra? Uhmm...
I much prefer Lara, Lyra, Layla, Naira, Nayeli and even Laura (this one is boring though).Layra seems a blend of all them.

I like it, but I wouldn't know if the "Lay" is pronounced like the word "lay" or like the word "lie". If I had to guess I'd say it like "lay". It reminds me of Layla but less cheesy (that "la" in Layla always sounds too singsongy to me, but the "ra" fixes that and makes it a little darker. It reminds me of night and stars, probably because it's close to Layla).

It looks like somebody really wanted to be unique and think outside the box, but they weren’t very good at it. Siblings would be Steckanie and Jophua.

Thanks to Philip Pullman, people are accustomed to Lyra. Layra looks as if it should sound different - presumably Lay as in eggs. And that gives a very buttoned-up impression, stiff and snobbish. If it sounds like Lyra, then nothing is gained by tweaking the spelling.
