[Opinions] Laelia
What's your thoughts on this botanical name? It's pronounced Lail - lee - ah and it's Latin pronounciation is Lie - lee - ah.
I like it a lot and think it's much nicer than Layla and Lila, both of which are becoming far too common.

It's ok. It feels a little bit too much and trying a little bit too hard, but it's not an unattractive sounding or looking name. I've never seen it used in real life and struggle a bit to picture it on a real person, how easy it would be to wear.
It's nicer than Layla, as I think Layla's one of the least attractive spellings of the name - Leila is much nicer - and it's not a name that particularly appeals to me. However, it will definitely get confused with Lilia and Leila and people will definitely misspell it all the time, nobody is going to guess l-a-e from hearing the name said aloud.

It's okay, particularly for people who really do like the flowers (which I'd never heard of).
I think it would definitely be confused with Leila or Lilia. If I was looking for a Lae*ia name distinct from Lila type names, I'd rather use Laetitia, but anyway, I like Layla / Leyla more and don't mind that it's popular.

I would avoid it, reluctantly. I automatically hear the LIE-lee-ah version in my head, but others wouldn't. And I don't like the -ai- version.
It's ok
Love it!
I like it
It's very pretty. I prefer it to Leila (etc.) and Lila.
