Axel: it's one of those names I can see someone using for their OC in a fanfic, but not on a real person.
Caspian: It's okay. The sea comes to mind.
Boston: If it's a nice place or was a given name before a place name, place names are okay, but I don't know about Boston.
Ellis: I hate to admit it, but this sounds like the sort of cutesy-yet-still-unfeminine name someone would use for a girl because they wanted her to be different.
Milo: I like it. It's sweet.
Nelson: I can't quite pinpoint what it is about this name that puts me off, but... I just don't like it.
Atticus: I know a kid with this name. It's alright.
Daxton: Yeah... No.
Ottilie: It's alright. For whatever reason my phone keeps autocorrecting it to Tortilla, though.
Viola: I actually really like this one.
Emersyn: Definitely not.
Paxton: For the longest time I DESPISED this name, but I'm neutral towards it now.
Lennon: I think of lemons and John Lennon. Not my favorite.
Camilla: Absolutely lovely.
Jasmine: Also absolutely lovely.

Axel: Never cared for and I hate to be caught shouting for one in a public area such as a playground, because it sounds a little too close for comfort to a certain cuss word. It's also a name of a car part, which makes it's usage even more silly. It might work in Scandinavian countries, but in English-dominated ones, it doesn't. Caspian: Don't care for and that's mainly because I think it sounds kinda pretentious. Or, at least on the verge of it. Also I once saw online where someone had said that it sounded like "cats peeing" and now I can't unhear it. /; The one good aspect of it, is the diminutive of 'Cas' which I quite enjoy. Boston: No, just no. This a name of a major city and not a very nice one at that. I mean sure, they're might be some decent, quality areas in the Massachusetts capital area, but the rough parts and it's host of problems are still there. Not exactly something I would want to be associated with. Also the use of the name practically screams that the parents were trying way too hard to seem modern and cool. When in reality, it's not. Ellis: Pretty good. Not something I would use myself but I appreciate the classic, vintage feel that it has. Delicate yet charming as well. Milo: Cute yet practical. Again, not something I would ever use myself (at least not for any actual kids) but something I can always admire whenever I do hear it. Nelson: Feels very dated and although it brings to mind the former Political activist leader, Nelson Mandela, it also brings to mind the character of "Nelson Muntz" from The Simpsons and his well-known catchphrase of "Ha-ha!" Atticus: Neutral towards, but I know I would probably enjoy it more if it wasn't for the unavoidable "kiss" sound at the end, reminding me of attics and of a certain novel that had popularized the name.

Hope you're having a great birthday :)Boys:Axel - it makes me think of cars and petrol, mechanics and stuff. Can't really think of anything to put with it.
Caspian - I like it, it makes me think of the seas. Caspian Gilbert, Caspian Valentin / Caspian Valentine, Caspian Alexander, Caspian Edward, Caspian Samuel / Lemuel, Caspian Dominic, Caspian Philip
Boston - seems too place-namey to be a name for me.
Ellis - I like it. Ellis Andrew, Ellis Johannes, Ellis Alban, Ellis Oliver, Ellis Rory, Ellis Peter
Milo - eh. It reminds me of the Tweenies, a UK young children's show. I'm not a fan.
Nelson - too tied to Nelson Mandela and Horatio for me.
Atticus - it's alright, very strong literary vibes. Atticus James, Atticus Leighton, Atticus Emmanuel, Atticus Paul

Axel: figure skating jump. More innovative than Alex, it won't stay that way for long. Axel Valentine.
Caspian: it's an attractive nature name, but I prefer Cassian, though it comes with the possibility of being pronounced CASH-an. Caspian Romulus.
Boston: even Massachusetts feels more serviceable. Boston Michael.
Ellis: languid and lisping. Gets lost among the sea of his sisters named Alice and Alyssa and Elissa. El- names in general need to take a holiday. Eliza and Elias can stay, but they're on thin ice. Ellis Benedict.
Milo: cutesy. The middle ground between a RAF pilot and a teddy bear. Milo Anthony.
Nelson: kiss me, Hardy! Nelson Oliver.
Atticus: it's a shame it's become so popular among hipsters. I think it sounds bright and attractive. Atticus Peregrine.
Daxton: as preppy, smug, and forgettable as Paxton and Jaxton. Daxton Conrad.
Ottilie: definitely more appealing than Otto! I like the English pronunciation (OT-il-ee), but not the German one (aw-TEEL-yeh). Both run uncomfortably close to the Polish word otyłość (obesity). Ottilie Marigold.

Happy birthday!
Here is what I think:
Axel: simple but really cool and hot.
Caspian: noble, refined and euphonic.
Boston: I don't like place names on people.
Ellis: it is similar to Elis, a name I actually like. And I love that double L. But it could be confused as a diminutive of Elizabeth.
Milo: simple and friendly-sounding. It also makes me think to the eponymous island and its wonderful art. The only problem is the obscurity of the meaning.
Nelson: nice and positive association, but I would use it for a dog -I don't know why, this idea just jumped in my mind.
Atticus: cultured and classy.
Daxton: cacophonic.
Ottilie: elegant, a bit cute.
Viola: splendid! It's also one of my favorite colors and a particular instrument.
Emersyn: nice.
Paxton: same as Daxton.
Lennon: same as Boston, because I don't even like surnames used as names.
Camilla: wonderful!
Jasmine: elegant and refined.

Happy birthday!Boys:
Axel - Guilty pleasure but sounds too much like a**hole when little kids say it.
Caspian - Handsome, I like it. Caspian Alexander?
Boston - Not my style, I'm not a fan of place names (with some exceptions).
Ellis - Not my style either, it sounds kinda feminine to me weirdly, maybe because of the el- sound that appears at the start of a bunch of my favorite girls' names.
Milo - Very cute although I prefer Miles. Great on a pet, I know a dog called Milo.
Nelson - Okay, not something I would consider.
Atticus - I really like this, if only because of TKM. It reminds me of the word 'abacus' which is somehow positive to me.
Daxton - Really not my style.Girls:
Ottilie - I love this. Tilly is a great nickname. I know someone who named their baby this last year (siblings were Eva, Arthur, Rose, and Eloise). I think it deserves more love.
Viola - Also beautiful. Shakespearean classic. I know someone else who gave it as a middle name a few years back - Liana Viola.
Emersyn - Not my style at all. I don't like -son names in general and the y makes it worse.
Paxton - Also not my style.
Lennon - A bit of a guilty pleasure. I love Lenny as a nickname.
Camilla - Gorgeous, good nicknames, ages well. You can't go wrong with Camilla.
Jasmine - I love this too. Beautiful flower, beautiful name.

Axel: Part of a car, cliched Scandinavian hunk.
Caspian: The kind of thing a kid obsessed with CS Lewis would think was good to name a person but would think better of it as an adult.
Boston: Dog name to me.
Ellis: It sounds old-mannish and stuffy.
Milo: Another pet name. Also somehow sounds sinister and sneaky.
Nelson: This is nice.
Atticus: Everybody knows right away where it came from; without that book nobody would use it.
Daxton: Random trendy sounds stuck together. Pretending to be a surname name but isn't even a surname.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Girls:
Ottilie: Oddly. Ottoman. Doesn't sound like a real person.
Viola: Hillbilly circa 1930.
Emersyn: Bland, pasty-white, personality-free but thinks an awful lot of itself just because somebody threw a y into it thinking it would spice it up, which it doesn't.
Paxton: Daxton's lame sister.
Lennon: As stupid as people naming their kids Jagger and Bowie and Ziggy.
Camilla: This is pretty though I like Camila and Camille better.Jasmine: Always liked it.
