I can't stand it. It looks incomplete and sounds very boring. Jessica Alba hasn't help the matter either.

I adore the name Alba, but ended up going with Alma for my own list instead. It just has better meanings in my opinion.

I like Alba. I will most likely never have a daughter, but the only thing I would be concerned about it that it would get confused with Alva, which is far more popular where I'm living.

It’s a cute name with nice meanings and a modern vibe (but with substance and history behind it). I’m surprised it’s not more popular in English speaking countries.

Alba is the name of a political party here (a Scottish one) so it is unlikely to be used widely in the UK.
