And I do agree Niloufar is prettier that Nenuphar. At first I assumed that Nenuphar is masculine, but, apparently, it's feminine.
I'd definitely shorten it to Nuphar in everyday life))

Nymphaea I really enjoy, unironically (I pronounce it nim-FAY-uh). Nenuphar is much less familiar to me (are the P and H pronounced as an F, or separately?), and I'm not sure I like it. Another reply mentioned preferring Niloufar / Nilofer, and I am in agreement (though I am reminded of "Nilla Wafers").

Nymphaea is pretty but a bit too scientific-sounding, I guess because it's the name of the genus for waterlilies. I've never heard Nenuphar, it's interesting but I prefer Niloufar.
