It's okay but I don't use it as a woman. I prefer Loida for girl.

Lloyd Madric Kai. And as for feminine, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but hey, I'm not your mom (Maybe for a Middle Name, like Cassie Lloyd or Heather Lloyd).

First thing that came to mind was "Lloyd in Space", a Disney TV show from the early 2000s.Maybe Lloyd Carter or Lloyd Patrick. No, I don't think it works for women.

The double ll's have kind of always bothered me, but there's not much to be done about that (Loyd looks even weirder) and it doesn't sound bad when said out loud, so overall it's okay I guess. Definitely not unisex, though. It doesn't even have a remotely feminine sound to it.

One of the very few lnfns that I enjoy. Definitely not unisex, though - it's about as unisex as James. Ohh, wait a moment ...I'm currently reading a lot about the First World War; just for the record, the British Prime Minister at that time was David Lloyd George. Lloyd George is a double surname; I think people might imagine that he was called by his fn and ln, which is not the case.
