Today, I spoke to a lady who was named Aixa. She pronounced eye-eeks-uh. I had never heard of it before. There is a user-submitted name but gave the pronunciation of AY-sha. That's completely different.

1. Actually, yes! I knew a girl with that name in 7th grade.
2. I don't really like it. Wouldn't use it.
