YEAR 1. LOCATION: The British Virgin Islands
Lindy Hibbert, from Guatemala (brown eyes and wavy black hair), has moved to the British Virgin Islands for her career as a nurse - she attended school in London and chose to move to the Islands after graduating.
Benji Tatum (green eyes and wavy brown hair) is German-born, but has lived in the British Virgin Islands since he was sixteen. He works as a vet, and met Lindy when she brought her cat Muffin in for a checkup. They started dating shortly after, and married after only dating for ten months.
Very quickly after getting married, the couple discovered that Lindy was pregnant, and very recently Killian Toribio Quincy Tatum was born. Killian has brown eyes and wavy black hair, looking very much like his mother. Lindy and Benji are so excited to begin their lives as a little family.

The Tatum family is very happy together - so much so, that Lindy and Benji decided to try for another baby! Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, and Killian is remaining an only child for now, much to Lindy’s sadness.
A few months later, an earthquake rocked the island the Tatum family lives on. Their apartment building suffered major damage, and the family had to relocate to a hotel until they can find new housing. Luckily, most of their belongings were salvageable. Lindy was very busy at work following the earthquake, but things have calmed down recently.

This year has been a calm one for the Tatum family. They were able to move into a new house (!!), and Killian just keeps growing! Benji is already looking at schools for him, though Lindy thinks it’s too early.
This year there was one major event, though: Benji was able to open his own veterinary practice! He had been working towards being able to do so for many years, and is so glad it’s finally happened. It helps that Lindy is extra-proud of him, too.

Another baby has arrived! Another boy, León Obadiah Uwe Tatum, was born four months ago. He has brown eyes and wavy brown hair. Killian, now three, is very excited to be a big brother (even though he doesn’t really know what that means yet). Not to mention, Muffin the cat loves baby León, cuddling with him like he’s a kitten whenever she can.
Killian has been experimenting with paints - it’s a new hobby, but one he loves, and his parents love to encourage him. Benji and Lindy hope to start him in preschool next year, especially since he’s such an active, curious child.

Late this year, Lindy gave birth to another baby boy! Named Isidor Uriel Vincent, he has brown eyes and curly brown hair. According to Lindy, he also has “the most adorable little freckles”. The family is so excited to welcome Isidor to the family.
Lindy has also decided to leave her career in nursing in order to help Benji with his veterinary practice. She’s in school to become a vet tech, and currently acts as a secretary until she is qualified to work with the animals. Killian has started preschool as well, and absolutely loves it! He’s made lots of friends, and is super excited to go to “schoo’” every day.

While neither Lindy nor Benji were expecting to have another baby, little Nilo Flanagan Marzell came this year! Nilo has brown eyes and wavy brown hair. His oldest brother Killian is super excited to have another little brother, though he doesn’t spend as much time with the new baby as Isidor and León do, as he started school this year. Lindy and Benji are still working hard at the veterinary clinic, and Muffin is a sweet kitty who loves all her boys (and girl). It’s been a good year for the Tatums.

This year, Lindy and Benji have welcomed yet another son, Xavier Odell Augustin! Xavier has brown eyes and wavy black hair - he looks just like his mama, according to Benji. Lindy herself says she’s not having any more children of her own. This year, León has started preschool, while Killian moved up a grade. León is a bit young for school, but he expressed interest in starting early.
Earlier in the year, the Tatums took a family trip to Guatemala to visit Lindy’s family, who hadn’t seen the kids in years. It was a great trip, and Killian’s already begging to go back next year!

Killian has begun struggling in school this year. His teachers said he seemed to be having difficulty focusing, and that he was very fidgety and talkative. After it became clear this wasn’t a discipline problem, Benji and Lindy took him to a child psychology specialist, leading to Killian getting diagnosed with ADHD. Since then, he’s been doing much better.

Another year passed, and another child in school! Isidor began preschool this year, though he doesn’t love it as much as his older brothers did. Muffin the cat is also getting older, and seems sad that she can’t spend as much time with León now that he’s in school. The family had a reunion with Benji’s side of the family this summer, and had a lot of fun together.

Ten years as a family, and it’s expanded a little more! Xavier, starting to feel lonely now that he’s the only one of the boys not in school, wanted to get a dog, and with his parents being vets, they couldn’t deny him. So Perry, the two-year-old Golden Retriever, has become a part of the Tatum family. Muffin isn’t too pleased with another animal in the house, but she deals with it.
The first ten years have been great, and Lindy and Benji are excited to see what the next ten years hold!
