[Opinions] Re: Mikaela

Spelling wise, it's ok. Not nearly as good as the original, 'Michaela' but not as bad as 'Makayla' and 'Mikayla' which I can't at all stand. They make me want to erase the first two letters and go with Kayla, which isn't the name itself. So that should tell you something. But I'd much rather have that than the added prefix to it. The other two are of course a bit different, Michaela in particular.
Name wise however, I can't say that I care too for it. In fact, it's one of those names that I have much have never been much of a fan of. I've always viewed it as one of those more modern fad names. (It used to be really trendy just a few of so years ago-it was honestly popping up everywhere, all variants included, but have been on the decline since.) It's also comes across as sounding very bratty to me. One of those names fitted on some spoiled snob or something. A cliche when it comes to this name, perhaps, but one I can't separate from.
