Do you think Mayblossom could work? Maybe as a middle name?I read it in a book about fairies.I love May but I normally dislike Blossom. But Mayblossom is kind of sweet. Please rate my list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/6232

No!

No. It sounds like the name of a ship filled with puritans.

I do not think it could work. There's too much going on, and furthermore what is going on is silly.

I like Mae/May but I don’t like Blossom for a person. Mayblossom is okay. I don’t think I’d use it for a child but maybe as a book character. To me Mayblossom is the free spirited daughter of a 60s hippie.

Well I’m in the minority here, because I love Blossom. Mayblossom would be very sweet as a mn, especially if she was born in May obviously.

I’d like it more for a room in a big old English house. Like Lady Elizabeth, you have the blue room and Lady Catherine, you have the Mayblossom room! What a treat! Shall I bring tea to your rooms? Can you tell I read a lot of English historical fiction / cozy mysteries? lol. I love the idea of naming guest rooms in my big beautiful house. Sigh.As a name, it’s too sweet. I can imagine a celebrity 20 years ago using Lily Mayblossom. Very sticky.I kind of like Mayflower better but that’s a loaded one, whew.

It reminds me of mayflies, I don't like it for that reason. Also it is a little clumsy.

Better than Blossom, but I still prefer May/Mae above either.

This sounds like a cute name for a fantasy character like a gnome or something.

Well I have a GP love of Snowblossom so Mayblossom feels like her springtime twin sister. I think it could work as a middle, yes.

Long and clumsy: the very opposite of its meaning. May doesn't need any help.ETA where I live, there's a brand of margarine called Blossom. A definite turn-off.

Definitely better than Blossom. It’s cute but a bit awkward on a real person.
