Isadora Duncan used the -a- spelling instead of Isidora, so there's a precedent for that. Not for a male name, though: that is strictly Isidore. Isadore looks like a merger between Isabel and Dora / Doreen / Dorothy, and would have horrified Isidore of Seville, who tried to be scholarly about word derivations, though he often got things wrong.
