Jockeved (I think a form of Yockeved / Jochebed?)

All women, unsure how Lawre is pronounced but I think it may be Laura?

I like Adilet. Lawre pronounced like Laura makes sense. Yocheved could be a pretty name, but Jockeved looks so much like Jock-eved that it makes it an even worse transition to English.

Strange names indeed. I know nothing much about biblical names, but if Jockeved truly is from Yockeved or Jochebed (which is plausible), then I think it gives off this strong manly vibe.

As for Adilet, my instant assumption was that this name was a variant of Adilette. Which is not so.. I can't unhear it as a feminine name, but I'm sure it's pronounced differently. It certainly feels unique.

And for Lawre, I thought it was pronounced "Lawr" too, and for a boy...but it could come from Laura rather than Laurence. It's my favorite out of all three. :) I say it should be unisex, just like Laurie.

If it is related to Jochebed/what I might spell Yocheved, it's interesting that it seems manly. Yocheved was Moses' mom. It's fun how culture shapes how we hear names!
