How do you pronounce Valeria? I heard it's pronounced like Malaria, But I'm not sure.

I knew a Valeria who also pronounced her names as the previous two members indicated. I worked with her for years and it never even occurred to me that the name rhymed with "malaria," so I think your fears are overblown.

I concur, Vuh-LAIR-reeuh. mostly because even if you try to say Vah-LAIR-reeah, it will be naturally reduced to Vuh-LAIR-reeuh as a result of de-stressing

The person I know named Valeria does pronounce her name to rhyme with "Malaria" -- at least when both are said with a general American accent, where the middle syllable is said like "lair".
