Year 11- Briar and Aurora go to Mittelscule, Briar testing at Haptschule levels and Aurora at Realschule. Lila gets into Gymnasium, much to the excitement of the family. The girls are sad they won't be at the same school, but Aurora and Briar are thankful they are together. The family moves to a new house, just a few streets from their old one. (Ignatz-35, Val-34, Aurora & Lila & Briar-11)
Year 12- Valquíria has a surprise daughter. The family is astonished, but there she is, Allegra Kate Meier. Unlike the triplets, she has Ignatz blond hair, but carries Val's darker skin tone & dark brown eyes. Briar and Aurora adore Allegra, but Lila doesn't like her that much. Briar wonders why. Could it be the diaper changing or sleepless nights? (Ignatz-36, Val-35, Aurora & Lila & Briar-12, Allegra-0)
Year 13- Teenagerhood is here! The family visits Salvador on vacation. Avó loves baby Allegra. The girls enjoy returning to Brazil. (Ignatz-37, Val-36, Aurora & Lila & Briar-13, Allegra-1)
Year 14- Briar tries to join a band and gets in! She can't wait to improve her bass skills and play in music festivals with her new friends. (Ignatz-38, Val-37, Aurora & Lila & Briar-14, Allegra-2)
Year 15- Briar and Aurora graduate from Mittelschule with their Realchulabschlusses. Briar desperately wishes she could go to university, but only Gymnasium students can do that. She and Aurora apply for an Ausbildungsplatz so they can go to Berufsschule, Briar in graphic design and Aurora in electrical engineering. Briar asks Lila if she should write as well as illustrate. Lila says "Go for it." Briar begins online writing classes as well as starting Berufsschule and learning her third language, Portuguese (after German (obviously) and English (for school)). Her parents worry this will be too much. (Ignatz-39, Val-38, Aurora & Lila & Briar-15, Allegra-3)
Year 16- Ignatz turns 40. He feels like he's getting to old too fast. Briar gets a pet pancake tortoise as a gift from Sylvia, who accidentally got two. Briar names him Rowdy. Ignatz and Valquíria don't mind as long as Briar takes care of him. Aurora and Lila don't like him, while Allegra adores him. (Ignatz-40, Val-39, Aurora & Lila & Briar-16, Allegra-4, Rowdy-33)
Year 17- Now both of the Meier adults are over forty. Aurora finishes her apprenticeship. Briar sinks into depression because of some bad luck with her band. She goes to therapy, which helps, as well as Rowdy. Her parents and sisters are all really comforting, even though Allegra doesn't really understand what's going on. Briar snaps out of it pretty quickly. (Ignatz-41, Val-40, Aurora & Lila & Briar-17, Allegra-5, Rowdy-34)
Year 18- Aurora, Lila, & Briar get their diver's licenses. Allegra starts school. Lila graduates Gymnasium and is applying for a pädagogische Hochschulen (teacher's college) after she takes a gap year in Brazil. Aurora begins looking for a company immediately and moves out while Briar starts advertising her freelance writing/illustrating business. Valquíria and Briar get into a fight. Val doesn't believe Briar's career path will make her any money and she should at least do something on the side. Briar responds with, "I'm also a graphic designer and I'll get a job somewhere." Val explodes, saying that won't help and she needs to get a "real job" like Aurora is. Briar leaves after that, coming back later that night only to give her mother the silent treatment for weeks while she works on her portfolio and advertises her services. She then moves out and rents a place with Sylvia. Their once stable relationship is now shattered and will never be restored to its previous condition. Aurora gets pregnant (they don't know the father). Ignatz and Val insist she keep the baby and Aurora has Sadie Abigail. (Ignatz-42, Val-41, Lila-18, Allegra-6

Year 19- Lila goes off to teacher college, face-timing and calling often. Briar and Sylvia's neighbor is a Muslim, and they start researching the Islamic faith. They don't become Muslims but find it interesting nonetheless. Aurora begins her career as an electrical design engineer for an energy company. Lila also explores the Islamic faith a little but doesn't convert. (Ignatz-43, Val-42, Allegra-7

Year 20- Briar has been really into sports lately and has started playing. She's soon hired by a sporting goods store as a sports graphic designer, combining both her hobby and great love. She tells her mom "I told you so" when she shares the news. Aurora and her co-worker Bulut Sergeant sneak off the job one day to go to a concert, but get caught. Ignatz is disappointed when he hears the news, having taught his daughters to do every job to completion. Lila has a severe allergic reaction to a chemical she was introduced to in chemistry class and has to go to the hospital. It doesn't have lasting effects. (Ignatz-44, Val-43, Allegra-8
