It seems like an 80s/90s name in the US, although it was never super popular, and I think the sound has stayed common (Gage, Peyton, Sage), so it doesn't really seem dated. Page for a boy comes across as more old-fashioned but not particularly weird or girly. This is probably weird to say, but for a girl, it seems about like a more modern Polly to me? Whatever that vibe would be.I didn't like the Paige I knew as a kid (thought she was a brat) and it was grouped in my head with Taylor back in the 90s, but I feel like Paige has aged better as a name than Taylor.

Paige seems like a name that's only been recently heard - I've gone most of my life not hearing it, despite its common usage.
Its quite pretty, but its not my thing. I prefer the simpler Page.

I met a girl once whose ln was Knight; her elder sister was named Paige Starry Knight. No idea what she was like: the sister was a professional photographer. On CNN the other night I saw, either a very short insert or, more likely, an advertisement: it started with a pleasant-looking woman in a business suit smiling at the camera and saying "Hi! I'm Paige Turner", which is when I changed channels.I've never met a South African Paige, but since I've heard of one, I'm sure there must be others. She'd be in her 30s or maybe 40s I suppose.

Paige Starry Knight! Wow. I think I like that despite myself.

It's so pretty but it would be as alternative of Pelagia.

I think Paige is a decent and slightly pretty and a tad elegant as well. Very neat and usable. Would make a nice middle name.Like a grown up Paige? I imagine a Paige as very smart, she has a lot of money and she’s a hard worker, but she’s also in touch with nature and would probably choose names similar to hers for children but nature names as well. Perhaps a bit artistic too.Not really. Even though it was a bit trendy in the 80s it’s still used today.
