[Facts] Hebrew spelling for Anina
Hi all,
I've just done a bit of research for my name (Anina) and found out that it means 'answer my prayer'. Could comeone help me spelling it in hebrew? I tried to google it up (AYIN NUN YUD NUN ALEPH) but nothing came up...?
Thanks a million,
Anina

Search in unicode for pages written in Hebrew:
http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&q=%D7%A2%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%A0%D7%90
and assuming you can read unicode (e.g. ענינא) you should see lots of pages containing that word.

I don't know hebrew specifically, but I am fluent in assyrian and partially fluent in arabic. sometimes feminine names end in a he/heh (I am not entirely positive of the hebrew equivalent, but I am sure you can figure it out) instead of alap/aleph.
you might try:
aleph noon yudh noon aleph
aleph noon yudh noon heh
ain noon yudh noon heh
to my ear, I would think Anina is pronounced softer at the beginning. ain is more gutteral and harsh, which is possibly why your spelling did not return any results.
good luck.:)

Thanks to you both!!
