[Opinions] Hannah and Hanna
Hanna is a name from my family tree. Would you consider it honoring to use Hannah instead? It is more common now where I live (only slightly, but still).
Is Hannah too boring or too girl next door? I sometimes can't shake the "a Hannah would be nice but sort of boring and homely" image that my friend says the name has.
Too dated?
I sort of like it and I like the fact that it makes me think of a nice person.

I prefer just Anna
I think Hannah is an okay name with some slightly interesting history/story behind it. I do think of a smart girl when I imagine Hannah, but not exactly pretty. I wouldn’t be surprised if one was, though. However, yes; It is a bit too boring. I prefer Anna, or Anne. But hey, it’s better than Peninnah.

Absolutely! Just as it would be honouring to use either Rebekah or Rebecca, Deborah or Debra. In fact, Hanna(h) could honour Ann, Anne or Anna, and vice versa.
I find Anna and Hannah more appealing than Hanna, but I like palindromes.

If the names were really different it would've been a problem, but they aren't. I think Hannah is a beautiful name.
