I far prefer Shirley! Shiley is too close to 'shyly'; not the best life sentence.

It reminds too much of Shirley to me.

I pronounced it as shey-LEE instinctively. Not like Shiloh. I think Shiloh is fine for a girl on it’s own and it really doesn’t need a nickname. I guess if I were forced to give a nickname Shi would be nice. Shiley sounds like another name on it’s own but that’s okay too.

Noun and adjective names can be good, or they can be ridiculous. Adverb names, as this one sounds like even if the spelling is different, are pretty bad.

At first I thought it was a surname-as-first-name, but its from Shiloh..? I'd rather just use Shi (shy) or Lolo as nicknames, but its not one of those names that need to be shortened. It already feels modern, attractive and young. Shiley sounds very young and sort of modern too, but not as cute.

I honestly first read it as Shirley. I guess it could work as a nickname, but it doesn’t really stand alone.

I don't know why people have a problem with longer nns, I personally think they can be really cute depending on the name. I like Shiley for Shiloh, but since it sounds so much like shyly I don't think it would be a good name on it's own.

The "shy" element in names is actually one I really enjoy, I love the sound a lot, but the problem with these names that lend themselves to be shortened this way is that it sounds exactly like "shyly" which is...too cute, and a little sad. Long ago I had a friend-of-a-friend who was always called "Shy" as a nickname, short for something (I never found out) and it always seemed a bit cruel to me. I don't think there's anything wrong with being shy, but I know that in most people's minds being shy is something that needs to be overcome or outgrown, so "Shy" and "Shiley" feels like a mocking name rather than an affectionate one :(

Shiley as a nn for Shiloh doesn't make Shiloh any quicker or easier to say, so it doesn't really work for me there. As a name of its own I guess it could work, but I don't like it, for the reasons stated above.

Shiloh doesn't need a nickname, certainly not this one. A complete downgrade. And I don't even really like Shiloh.
