[Opinions] Name I saw, recently
Jasper, a girl. What do you think about it?

I know that I’m a minority, but I love it! I’ve always found it as unisex. Jasper is a pretty cool name.
It's fine. Jasper as a name is completely unisex to me given that it is a word/object. I think it is more refreshing on a girl. Jazz or Jazzi is a cute nickname.
Not a fan of this name for a boy or a girl. I had a friend with a Golden Retriever named Jasper so it’s a dog name to me.
It’s my oldest son’s name and should absolutely stay a male name! Hate it for a girl, sounds masculine to me, obviously and there are plenty of gem names for girls already!
Maybe for a dog
I’m not a fan, but I can see why someone would do this.
No, I don’t even like it on a boy. I hope she goes by Jas.
Disappointing. I really cannot see the point: granted, I'm not a fan of jewel names, but gender-bending jewels are a real turn-off, if for no other reason that there are more girl names in the world than boy names, and scavenging them for female use doesn't seem fair.
I seen this recently too. It's bad enough for a boy. It's absolutely disgusting for a girl.
There are enough precious stone names for girls already. Let the boys have this one!
It’s okay, I prefer it on a boy more.
I don’t hate it but I don’t like it either. It’s just decent. I like the nickname Jazzy for it, but then again you can still get that from Jasmine, Jael, Jaimie, Jacqueline, or Jeannine. I do like Jasper and Casper for a boy though.
It has a nice meaning and it’s rugged handsome for a boy. The stone aspect of it on a male makes it even more interesting. This was also a name given to one of the wise men in the Bible, so just like how I feel with names that are pretty much etymologically masculine on a girl, I don’t really like it.

Oh, man.
On a girl, not a fan at all.
I like it theoretically on a boy but I have a hard time actually envisioning it being used on a kid.
