[Opinions] Knightlene and Haviland
Hi everyone -- long time no see.I want to ask about what are your opinions on the name Knightlene and Haviland as girl's name.
- Knightlene, maybe pronounced as /knight-LEEN/. Means "knight's clearing (?)". Possible nickname Knightie. I forgot where I found this name, but I remember that it is a feminine variation of the surname Knightley.
- Haviland, pronounced as same as Havilland, but spelled with only one L. I found this surname-as-forename on Nameberry (sorry Behind the Name) which they said occasionally used as girls name.Additional question: Do you prefer Knightlene or Haviland?Everyone please note that I'm just asking for your opinions :")
Don't worry, I won't name any of my child these names lol

I'm sorry, but no. No to both. Unquestionably, unequivocally no.

I really don’t like either.

I'm not a fan of either. Haviland might suit a fantasy character, probably.

Anything with the possible nickname of (K)Nightie is ludicrous. Who wants to be known as sleepwear? If you want 'Knight's Clearing', you need Knightley or Knightleigh, not that I recommend either. Nor do I take Haviland seriously: too close to (de) Havilland, and who wants to go through life as an aircraft? I hope you are being silly, but if you are, you are only amusing yourself.

Okay, I have the same opinions as you and I just want to see other's reaction about this, who knows if they gonna like it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Knightlene is uglyier than a monkey's armpit. It's just knight with a feminine-sounding ending stuck onto it, like Knightanne or Knightette, with the added problem that it sounds like a synthetic fiber, like nylon but inferior to it.Haviland just sounds pretentious and faux-aristocratic.
